About us
The Association was established 90 years ago for servicemen blinded during the Great War. With the year-on-year cuts in statutory services, we are increasingly the only port of call for those coming to terms with sight loss, often in later life. We now support over 1,800 registered blind and partially-sighted people throughout Wiltshire to live as full a life as possible.
Our team of dedicated Caseworkers provide regular, one-to-one support and home visits. We also offer:
- social clubs
- talking books
- specialist holidays
- other activities such as darts and ten-pin bowling
